Published, Updated, Reviewed: How to Read Our Dates

Every guide on SriLankaJewellery.com carries dates, and they mean specific things.

The three dates

Published is when the guide first went live. Updated changes whenever we materially edit the content, new information, corrections, restructured sections. Last reviewed records when the content was last checked end-to-end, even if nothing changed.

Why this matters

In a field where regulations shift and markets move, an honest date is part of the information. A guide about customs procedures reviewed recently deserves more confidence than one untouched for years, and you should be able to see the difference at a glance rather than guess.

Review status

Many guides currently state that independent specialist review is not yet completed. That is deliberate: we do not invent experts or credentials. Until an independent, named subject-matter expert has reviewed a guide, we say the review is pending, and the content stands on published references and public sources listed at the end of each article. As reviewers are appointed, their names and review dates will appear on the guides they have checked, see our review policy.
